(Spur ÷ Pinion) × Trans. Ratio = FDR

By making changes to your spur and pinion gears, you can influence your car’s speed of acceleration and top end speed. The larger the final drive number, the faster the acceleration. The lower the number, the more top end it will have.

1. To figure out the final drive number, do the math:

Spur Gear ÷ Pinion Gear = Gear Ratio

2. We need to multiply this number with the transmission ratio. You can get the Team Associated vehicle's transmission ratios by choosing a selection in the drop-down above.

Gear Ratio × Transmission Ratio = Final Drive Ratio
